The principal function of NWAS is to administer the northern area of the Welsh Archery Association.  This comprises the counties and other administrative areas of Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Ynys Mon, and Wrexham

The objectives of the Society are

• To further the sport of archery in the North Wales area

• Unite all archery clubs in North Wales

• Establish and maintain a coaching structure that delivers high-quality individual coaching to North Wales archers
